Dr. Farhad Rafizadeh is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with over 40 years of experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He trained at Harvard and completed his fellowship at the renowned Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.
Unlike many practices, Dr. Rafizadeh personally performs every consultation, every procedure, and every follow-up visit. His patients never wonder who will be in the operating room — it is always him.
His son, Dr. Andre Rafizadeh, is also a Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon, bringing the same philosophy of personalized artistry to the next generation of the practice.
Call our office at (973) 267-0928 or submit the contact form online. Our staff will find a time that works for you and answer any initial questions.
Dr. Rafizadeh personally evaluates your goals, discusses your anatomy, and uses computer imaging to help visualize potential results — never delegated to a coordinator.
Our team provides detailed pre-operative instructions, lab work coordination, and answers every question so you feel completely prepared and at ease before your surgery date.
Dr. Rafizadeh sees you the next day, again in three days, one week, one month, and six months to a year after surgery. Personally, every time, for life.
Your first visit is a conversation, not a sales pitch — and it is always with the surgeon, never delegated to a coordinator or sales staff. Dr. Rafizadeh takes the time to understand your goals, evaluate your anatomy with detailed photographic analysis, and discuss which procedures — surgical, non-surgical, or none at all — will actually achieve what you are picturing. There is never pressure to commit.
Computer imaging may be used to help visualize potential results. Dr. Rafizadeh believes strongly that patient and surgeon must be in complete agreement before moving forward with any procedure.
Plan for a long, unhurried visit — typically an hour, and longer when your case calls for it. Dr. Rafizadeh does not rush his patients: you leave with realistic aging projections, an honest candidacy assessment, and when appropriate a staged, long-term plan — what to do now, what can wait, and how non-surgical maintenance fits in over the years ahead. When the honest answer is to wait or do nothing yet, that is exactly what he will tell you. Read more about how safety and candidacy are handled, or — if you are unhappy with surgery done elsewhere — about second opinions and revision.
“I want every patient to leave feeling heard, fully informed, and confident in their decision — on their timeline, not mine.”
— Dr. Farhad Rafizadeh, MD FACS
Please bring a list of current medications, supplements, and prior surgeries. If you have relevant imaging or records, those are welcome too. The more Dr. Rafizadeh knows, the better he can plan your care.
If you have photos of results you admire or outcomes you hope to achieve, bring them. Visual references are a great starting point for a productive, goal-focused conversation with Dr. Rafizadeh.
Your initial consultation typically lasts 45 minutes to one hour. Dr. Rafizadeh takes his time with every patient. Please allow enough time so you can ask all of your questions comfortably.
Your privacy is paramount. All information shared during your consultation and throughout your care is kept strictly confidential in full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
We accept financing through Alphaeon Credit and CareCredit to make your procedure accessible. Ask our staff about payment plans during your consultation and we will help find the right option for your needs.
